Book Synopsis
Book bastard and prosthetic repo man Doyce Whisanant (AKA the Dixie Whiz) finds himself in a land purported to be Oz, but is this another Tiki cocktail fever dream? Ribald, erotic and philosophical in tone, this picaresque adventure takes our intrepid raconteur further afield than ever before! When he encounters the Hammer-Heads, whose head will prove to be the hardest? Join Doyce, Jerry, and a wild cast of characters both weird and familiar in a unique romp through, above and beneath reality! Not for children! Volume eighteen of The Whisanant Mythos.

"In what is sure to become the most controversial installment of The Whisanant Mythos to date, 'Whiz of Oz' takes the series protagonist Doyce Whisanant into the mythical (or is it?) land of Oz, albeit to prepare the innocent inhabitants for the invasion of Earth's Largest Bookstore. High tech and consumerism collide with reason and contentment in this adult fable of extremes in conflict. Corporate culture is savaged in accompaniment with pornographic detente, as delineated by the illustrative greats of a previous century." -- The Literary Lazarette

"I almost gave it 2 stars because it got me thinking a little, but then some parts became straight up porn and it eased off some. A great work of Victorian erotica." -- The Smart Schlong

"Better than a family-sized bag of boiled peanuts at midnight, I absolutely devoured this book! Whisanant's lifelong quest for truth about his cosmic experiences with the green boys from upstairs often raises more questions than answers, but the rabbit holes this author follows and the inner circles he inhabits reflect the best of both personal inquiry and investigative fictioneering. This is a compelling, thought-provoking, empathetic, well researched and at times laugh-out-loud-funny chapter book!" -- All About Aggregates
