About The Author
Rev. Susan is a dynamic, and progressive woman of God who believes that she must lead with both skill and integrity (Psalm 78:72) She holds a MA in Curriculum and Instruction, MDiv in Theology, and a DMin in Adaptive Leadership. Her passion in ministry is encouraging others to hone and apply their gifts for the edification of God’s kingdom.
Susan is a Milken Family Foundation National Honor Teacher who has empowered youth in urban education as an English teacher and administrator for 30 years.
Susan answered God’s call to the preaching ministry in 1999 at Waters A.M.E. Church in Baltimore, MD. In May 2019, Susan became the first female to serve as pastor of Allen Temple AME Church in Atlanta, GA in its 153-year history.
