Ecclesiastes might be the strangest book in the Bible. (Ok Job is also strange.) A casual reading of Ecclesiastes might bring depression and take away hope….But, the book of Ecclesiastes and its message is more meaningful today, than it was when Solomon wrote it. Digging into Ecclesiastes will give you great insight into life and its final destiny and outcome. Ecclesiastes can teach you why God placed you on this planet!
Life right now is a struggle from many. A virus has hit that world and shut it down. This story has taken over the local and national news. Things people live for and enjoy have come to a screeching halt. My beloved Cubbies have not even started the season yet.
Political unrest and racial injustice are also is the forefront of the country. A lot of people have lost hope and are bound by fear. It has made people question a lot of things. Some have lost their jobs and are wondering about their next meal and bills. They are living the Ecclesiastes’ world.
