When Victoria Cranston was very small, someone, she’d long since forgotten who, had taken her to the top of a very big playground slide and, with many words of encouragement and much cajoling, had set her at the top. Then with a final “You’ll love it!” had given her a push and sent her sliding down. She had never forgotten the panic-stricken sensation.
Many years later, that same sensation returns when Vicki is pressured into accepting an invitation to her 20th class reunion back in her hometown. The invitation promises to take her on “A Sentimental Journey.” She has no idea how true that will be, or how much her life will be changed as a result.
Returning to the small town of Ashbrook, Vicki rediscovers old friendships and an old flame, and revisits old secrets long kept hidden...
