Book Synopsis
Join us as we yet again travel back in time, to one of the most interesting periods in recorded history, the wondrous, weird, and often quite dangerous middle ages. We will explore some of the most elaborate and unbelievable stories from the era, all presented as true historic fact, but many of which are questionable, and lack enough solid evidence to back them up. We will learn of a man who claimed he was the true heir to the throne in 1318, and that Edward II was an imposter! We will also discover the strange tale of a ferryman supposedly beaten to death by his crew, when they thought he came back from the dead, as-well as other stories, that i've lovingly titled “Love and Cannibalism” - “Death by Chicken?”, and “Tying the Ships Together Won’t Help!” among a few more rather peculiar medieval stories!
