Book Synopsis
Love isn’t about logic, or reason.
In 2006, Dr. Spencer Reid, Supervising Special Agent with the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI, while conducting a guest lecture at Georgetown University on Sexual Sadism and Anger Excitation Offenders, stumbled over his words, distracted by a young woman sitting in the front row. Her sweater, leotard, tights, and ballet shoes were all pink, drawing his attention but it was her eyes that kept his focus.
He missed his opportunity to talk to her after the lecture and she walked out of the classroom… and his life.
Now, he’s meeting with the Psychology professor for whom he’ll be conducting a series of guest lectures during his required 30-day sabbatical from the BAU.
He finds out their lives have intersected time after time over the last 13 years and he’s offered a second chance with ‘the one who got away’.
