"'Serpent World' is an endearing exploration into the formative years of one of modern pulpdom's most fascinating characters: Doyce Whisanant. Ride along with the Whisanant bunch on twelve mid-century excursions into wackiness and adventure, positioned somewhere equidistant between Gilligan's marooned hijinks and Mayberry W.T.F." -- Immoderate Living Magazine
