Book Synopsis
The many discourses presented in this book of Christian sermons were delivered to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while the author served on the Yuba City California Stake High Council, as Bishop of the Buttes Vista Ward in Yuba City, and finally as Bishop of the Sutter Buttes Ward in Yuba City. The sermons span just over eight years, delivered from April 2011 to May 2019, while the author served in these ecclesiastic capacities.
The sermons draw upon the words of modern-day apostles and prophets as well as ancient scripture. This book is written primarily for members of the author’s family, but all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints may profit thereby, and, indeed, the counsel given herein may be of interest and benefit to members of all Christian faiths.
