Book Synopsis
For my high school senior capstone project, I have written and illustrated a children's book that introduces concepts such as air pollution and irresponsible waste management to help the youth create an understanding of the broad topic of climate change. Capstone is a year-long class where students create a project tailored to their interests. With the help of a mentor, we students follow a step-by-step program where we research, brainstorm, design, and carry out the making of a product. My goal for this book is to spread awareness and educate the youth on climate change in hopes that they will gain a passion to secure themselves a green future.
