Sailor Boy

A heart-melting romance with an exciting twist that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Sailor Boy was fast-paced, engaging and suspenseful. I love how the opening line and the ending line were the same. It made the story come full circle for me.

The characters were complicated, and deeply human, with their own strengths and weaknesses; which made them relatable. They developed over the course of the book, and I found myself on the emotional journey with them. I cried a few times and laughed some too. I learned more about myself in this story...how I might react if I were in the characters shoes.

I was blown away again by this author’s ability to write such engaging, real-life, entertaining, phenomenal stories. I loved her novel "The Queen" and I'm so happy I read this one too. I am ready for whatever she dreams up next. Clearly the author puts her heart into every story and it is a pleasure to read. Plus the size of this one is perfect for traveling! It fits right in my purse without taking up too much space for everything else I need.

I really enjoyed this book! The love story was so sweet that I got emotional at the end, and the suspenseful/scary part kept me on the edge of my seat! The author did a great job writing this, and also with the obvious amount of time and effort she put into researching everything. Give this book a read, you won't regret it!

Loved it! Kept me captivated; which is hard to do. I will usually stop reading if it doesn't grab be my the first 3 pages. I will read more by this author.

Sailor Boy was such an Amazing book! C.D.Ross is by far my favorite Author. There are not many books out there that can keep my interest, but every book this author publishes always keeps my interest! Sailor Boy has the perfect balance of faith, action, and romance. The author did a great job with character development as well as the characters personalities.

Thank you so much for a great romantic love story filled with suspense and life's many ups and downs. Kept my attention throughout. An easy read for all audiences. Keep up the good work and research!

Have read EVERY book by this author. Each one grabs me from the first few pages.
Her books are those in which I find myself saying "I can't put it down" and who needs dinner, y'all just grab a snack.

I love her ability to capture REAL LIFE at its best and also at the worst of times. She has the ability to fill each character with a truly all their own personality. Fell in love with the characters as always and by the end of the book, I felt as though I knew them personally.

The romance was so sweet & genuine and throughout this book the author just proved to me again, some things are just meant to be. God surely has His hand in our lives.
There were moments of ...awwwww that's the sweetest ever, moments of fear, nail biting terror with suspense and tragedy yet C.D. Ross again brought it all together beautifully.
I cried, shuttered in suspense and cheered all within the pages of this book.

This author went to great lengths of research and interviews to enable us the readers to relate completely with Sailor Boy, it's characters and all it holds within it's beautiful covers.

I love that she always puts a recipe in the back of her books. Such a great treat!

C.D.Ross once again capturing our hearts and attentions from the very beginning of the book! I started the book and literally could not put it down! I read it in one day! I found myself laughing along with witty jokes or comments the characters would make, other times I felt myself crying and wanting to jump right in there and help some of the characters. This book is one of mystery, love and finding hope and faith again. I definitely recommend this to everyone along with ALL of her other books and I cannot wait for her next one!!
