I feel some deep gratitude for the courage of this author to so honestly tell his story. To use one’s own challenges to educate and help others is the best thing one can do with suffering.

This short book was very inspiring encouraging and remind me how people of color get single out by police and caught up in peer pressure. It also show how you can escape and deal with peer pressure as a youth. This book is all-around real to the core of our youth and how friends and society feel and think about you.

Speak your truth! Don't stop. That is what this book tells us! A cautionary tale while acknowledging that one can be set up -- we don't ever know what the future holds. Immaturity is a big part of decision making and that's what he need compassion around. Our youth deserves the best from others, from us, from decision makers. It is terrifying to share your story when you are falsely accused. The whole process is scary. Roshawn shares ihis story of justice and injustice in a way everyone could understand. I read and hear Roshawn had to become braver than ever before. Good read.

I'm 17 and I really enjoyed the book and the honesty of the topic some parts made me feel like I was reading out parts of my life especially when you brought up your relationship with your mother I often feel that and I'm glad I finally sat down to enjoy it. I love this and thank you for making this for people who might be dealing with the same things you dealt with.
