Book Synopsis
Determined to minimize future diseases caused due to infant malnutrition, Dr. Karam Elahi undertook to educate Indian parents on the principles of feeding of infants, the properties of different sources of nutrition, and the diseases which arise from faulty diet in their infancy. He translated contemporary research – Dr. Cheadle’s lectures to post graduate class in the UK – added his observations based on experience and published the research in Urdu in 1892.
