Book Synopsis
The point of this book is not to give you an in-depth look behind the scenes of those who grew up in a Pastor’s/ Bishop’s/ Superintendent’s household, nor is it to provide excuses for “PK”’s who like any other person’s child make mistakes.
The point of this book is rather to:
1. compare and contrast the “leaders children” and “the people’s children” in The Bible;
2. encourage congregants to ‘look in the mirror’ at their own children or relatives prior to casting the first stone;
3. broaden your mind when you think of the pastor/leader & his/her household; and
4. remind anyone in a leader’s household who is reading this to remember that you are mere human as well, with human needs and human feelings – own that fact and walk in it!
My hope is that after going through various Biblical examples in this book, brethren overall will see through a new set of lenses causing them (in moving forward) to not only reflect on how they treat “PK”’s, but also have empathy towards them.
