Book Synopsis
This very literal New Testament was derived from the "Concordant Greek Text", stressing consistent use of words. In other words, each Greek word has it's own English equivalent as much as possible, without becoming unreadable. With repeated reading of the entire text, the seeming strangeness can lead to increased understanding and enjoyment.
Both the New Testament and the extensive index used to build it are viewable and downloadable at www.worddispensary.wordpress.com. The index entries show ultra-literal translations of the original Greek words, and the Strong's numbers associated with them. A good way to understand the meaning of an expression is to see how it is used in all its contexts. This index based on the New Testament Greek, facilitates easy perusal of most contexts of interest.
