Great book! Provided a great insight as to our Marines and military personnel serving in Vietnam. This book made me laugh, it made me cry. Truly a story written on account of life's greatest hardships and the friendships forged throughout.

This book is fantastic!! I laughed and cried all the way through. I couldn’t put it down. I guess that’s not true, I had to pause in between to gather myself for I couldn’t read through the tears. When we see movies of the Vietnam times, we leave the theater knowing that it was true but there’s still something in us, that says....it was only a movie. Thanks to this book...maybe everyone out there will realize that our guys that gave it ALL for us are still living that nightmare. Maybe this will touch everyone and make them understand a little bit more what it means and what they scarificed for all of us!
I for one want to say THANK YOU Norman Manuel and to ALL the others, and not just the ones mention the book, but ALL that served.
Thanks for the book and the mark it has made on my heart forever.

Excellent, detailed and heartbreaking remembrance of what war was like for our young men. So sad that so many had to endure the hell of Vietnam. They are and were America’s best!
