Very interesting and enlightening read. A look into the life of a Scoutmaster, the lives they touch and the ones that touch theirs.

I enjoyed it very much. At times I found myself wondering how I never knew this much about this wonderful leadership program.

You'll learn a lot from this book about both the overall mission and the finer points of Scouting. If you're involved with Scouting now or have been in the past, you'll be amused at John's many stories and reminded of the value of the program, what boys can learn from their leaders, and what leaders can learn as well. John is clearly very committed to the values of Scouting and (other than the heat of summer camp) loves the experience of being a leader! John's writing style will make you feel like you're just having a casual chat and listening to lots of fun stories.
