An annoying habit is to recount his conversations with various wandering hippies involving speculation in Tiki Misanthropology and pre-history as if the hippies in question are somehow authorities on the subject of Skunk Ape caverns (for example). "Like, yeah man, totally the people who found the caves were, like, reincarnated and stuff." And lots of content about the cost of hotel rooms in various obscure towns and Tiki cocktail drinking (really, do we need a specific name of every rum type you ever consumed on your travels?).
