Book Synopsis
We spend our whole lives in waiting for the realization of the promise, waiting on that feeling, looking for that image, craving that love. Before we even realize it, we begin taking steps to speed up the process. We actively begin the search. We do what we feel is necessary to create the situation or family that we think will lead to the unconditional agape Love that we are desperately seeking.
That is the love that this book is about. Those are the feelings that this book is about. It is the search for, the connection to and the death of that Love. It is about the realization that much of the time it NEVER was what we thought it was. It is about the moment you are left alone and realize that what you thought you were working towards has died without notice. It is about the repeated behaviors that lead to broken pieces of our heart being strewn about at our feet.
This book is an account of a part of my journey. It is about seeking, finding and losing the love that you have always dreamed of. It is about getting past the pain of a Love Miscarriage. It is also about what we do when we know that a Love Miscarriage is imminent. Do we keep clinging on with nothing more than hope or do we take the necessary steps to abort it while we still have a shred of dignity left.
This book is about Recovery, Healing and Self-Love. Not necessarily in that order. It is a look into my life. My search for love my struggles to overcome the pain and despair I felt when that love died too soon. Is anyone ever prepared for a Miscarriage of Love?
