When Mark discovers evidence that leads him to believe there may be more to his wife's accident, he begins to question the goodness of God and His plan.

Dr. Paul Thatcher is well respected in his field, continuing his late father's legacy. Strange incidents & unexplainable occurrences coincide with the admittance of a mysterious patient. The new arrival begins to stir things up not only in his facility but also in him as Paul begins to question everything he thought he believed.

Conflict wages within his soul as an invisible war is fought all around him.

He must choose a side... and time is running out.

I used to read alot of John Saul, Bentley Little and Dean Koontz so I'm familiar with the whole supernatural, thriller genre. Having read very little "Christian fiction", I found this angle interesting.
The story follows a few characters on different paths leading to the same event. It has a bit of mystery, at times it felt "noire-ish" which I enjoyed. There was some unexpected spooky elements, some scenes where there was a sense of the fantastic and a few twists where I stopped reading to process for a minute before continuing. The main and supporting characters were fleshed out well and nobody read as a cliché or stereotype. Not being an emotional type, I was surprised having been moved at a few scenes near the end, no spoilers.
I've never written a book review before (maybe that shows) but seeing the author sell out at a local book signing event recently and not finding any reviews online I felt a bit compelled to put it out there that it's a good read and will stick with you afterwards.
