Book Synopsis
This is a lighthearted, easy read of my adventures in Tok, Alaska, with four kids and relatives in 1985. 'Creative living' only suggests the mayhem that ensued. Nonfiction, it was all quite real, and slightly bizarre!

From a one-room cabin over the summer to renting a 'mansion' in the winter (it had real plumbing!), the days stayed 'interesting'. Though I had no water at the cabin, I was cleaning motel rooms in town... the irony, tubs and toilets! Common challenges of hauling water, bathing kids, or warming a car at -50 temperatures called for 'creative solutions' often enough. Dating a goat wasn't my idea, nor was finding myself with two more 'kids' before my relatives returned from their trip... But that's later in the story; easier to just read it, you won't regret it!
