Book Synopsis
Imagine a former Hessian soldier and his family traveling from Bieber in Germany to Ulm, and then taking a wooden barge down the Danube to Vienna; then continue south on the great river to Serbia and by land to Stephansfeld. After that, on to Karlsdorf and make a return trip through Romania and Hungary, back through Vienna and on to Osnabrueck, Germany and back south to Bieber.
Well, now realize, that it took more than 150 years to complete the trip and six generations of the Wenzel family participated it in. In a nutshell, that is my story.
