Book Synopsis
Kululu Atsiaya was born in Nairobi Kenya, in East Africa. In this autobiography, Kululu takes the reader through his life against all odds; spending his entire childhood and teenage in a harsh slum on the outskirts of Nairobi, his fight with himself and his environment in an effort to defeat the ever beckoning hand into the world of theft and other crime that was the path of choice for the ‘successful’ men and women of his neighbourhood. It is also an account of how an individual judged as deficient in learning capacity rises to graduate from a university; in spite of himself.
In a manner that is a mix of anecdotes of an African urban childhood and an honest account of his life, Kululu tells a story that should inspire everyone who would like to change their circumstances, for his is a story of hope in a place where there ought to have been none. From a school drop-out, through missionary life, the work place safety specialist shares the many layers that his present personality ensconces.
Kululu is a motivational speaker based in Dallas Texas. He is also a musician and avian life and anti-corruption activist. Apart from this biography, he is also the author of The Corrosive Gulley: Corruption is a Way of Life. Kululu is married and lives in Texas with his wife and two sons.
