It is loaded with lots of information for just about every Burpee in the book giving such history as family stories, pictures, biographies, census data, wills, dates and places. There are essays, and discussions about the origin of the Burpee name and a family tree of the first six generations of the sons that had children and passed on the Burpee name. Over 480 pages of fine print, over 6,400 names all directly connected to Thomas Burpee or is a spouse. This 3rd edition just published Dec 2015, has approximately 30% more detailed information than the 2ns edition and over 50% more than the first edition.
