Book Synopsis
Recovering from finding themselves embroiled in several brutal murders in their Victorian mansion in Beverly, MA., the three aging widows, Maggie, Vivian and Daisy are hoping for a little domestic tranquility along with their beloved felines, Brutus, a Maine Coon, and Chastity, a feisty long hair. Maggie, a retired librarian, Vivian a curvaceous gal about town, and Daisy an amateur sleuth, have learned to accept their respective eccentricities and go on with their lives. The horrific events of the past brought them closer together despite their differences. Daisy, dubbed Miss Marple, by the local Chief of Police was instrumental in solving the murders. Unfortunately the tranquility they hoped for is not to be. Vivian receives obscene phone calls, Maggie discovers several priceless First Editions missing from her exclusive library, and Daisy's inquisitive nose leads her back to Kansas to unravel a family mystery.
