Book Synopsis
When covid first come on the scene it was portrayed as most devastating illness or event, the world had seen. But that was and never would be the case for those who have studied history or lived through it. We are a nation that has faced numerous and formidable obstacles and overcame them through hard work and perseverance. Our nation has had a long history of illness, suffering, and death.
To be fair, when covid first made the scene, not a lot was known about the symptoms, the pathology, the source of spreading, and a treatment regimen. And it was not unwarranted to take ample precautions to slow the spread and minimize any health impacts. There was never an expectation that this virus, or any virus could ever be stopped. Then there was the ever-changing goal posts and benchmarks.
But Draconian measures were implemented, masking, distancing, and lockdowns without fully considering the unintended consequences and whether the cure would be worse that the disease. We lost our few remaining freedoms. Even when the “vaccines” came, our “salvation”, our fears remained. We will never control covid but covid has succeeded in controlling us.
