Book Synopsis
This course is titled “Communicating the Gospel,” for it pertains to public religious discourse. It is designed for both the preacher and the teacher.
The course is broken into three modules. Module 1 The Science and Art of Communicating the Gospel defines proclamation, describes its function, and sets forth the elements that can make it effective. Module 2 Preparation analyzes the prospect of preaching from various texts, topics, and genres. Module 3 Presentation considers the role of media, delivery style, and personal character in effective preaching.
