Book Synopsis
Castle at the Edge of the World continues the adventures of the Mad Baron of Lysenwyk, John Krensley, and his new wife, Flavia. Prince Thomas has expelled all sorcerers from Aedlestan and Orlando, in a fit of rage, unleashed a creeping horror in the capitol city that is killing the city’s citizens by night. John and Flavia are sent by their prince to Castle Rose beyond Land’s End to borrow the Breaking Sword from Conrad in order to destroy the monster. Their way is fraught with difficulties and they will encounter a truly mad alchemist, demonic and otherworldly terrors, forgotten peoples, and a powerful sorceress. When they arrive at the Edge of the World, they find the castle and its citizens under demonic assault.
