Book Synopsis
Governors, senators, deputies, all other law makers besides the Mayor have become irrelevant in the World As We Know It. California has become a melting pot for cultures from all over the globe. Residents who conform by the Mayor's ruling live as well as they can. Rebellion is punishable by death, and the only way to change your fate is to survive the Gladiator Arena.

Meet Uriel, a Gladiator. With his flesh more scar tissue than not, he's fought enough to know it's the presumably weak opponents you have to pay close attention to.

Tracy Romanoff is anything but stereotypical nobility, and don't let her petite stature fool you. She's fiery as the hot sun that scorches the desert wastelands of her country. Born the daughter of a Duke, she'll go to any means possible to ensure her independence.

Johnny makes a living hunting the scum of humanity. Quoting scholars and philosophers while spilling blood with the grace of a dove, Johnny is lethal as he is charming.

About The Author
M. C. Campbell has had a love for literature since he was a kid. His writing is influenced somewhat by his favorite authors, including Joe Abercrombie, Steven Erikson, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, the late Sir Terry Pratchett. He enjoys reading while cuddling in his hammock with his cat, Arya. When he isn't fighting crime and corruption(a la Johnny the Bounty Hunter), he helps people improve their physical fitness and health as a certified personal trainer at his local gym.
