Book Synopsis
Breaking Through: Changing the Narrative is a book of self-intervention, and individual growth and development. This book includes a psycho-educational ‘like’ format along with a style of therapeutic analysis. This book was designed for correctional facilities, schools and community-based programs that will prepare the returning citizen for reintegration back into society; it’s written for the student to gain perspective; and offer guidance to at-risk teens and help fathers become even better men. This book is not intended to be a full scoped intervention model but rather designed based upon a progressive and systemic look at some alternative intervention and proven techniques from a psycho-therapeutic “like” perspective to address some of the social issues from a mental health stand-point.

Author bio image
I hold a master’s degree in counseling and attend speaking engagements sharing my story. It is my hope that many who share in my experience can learn from the methods I used to overcome my challenges.
Breaking Through: Changing the Narrative is my second book on motivation to help young men to channel that negative energy attributed to their environment to positive energy to change their narrative.
