Book Synopsis
Rules are set in stone; that is until someone shatters that rock and all hell breaks loose. A determined oil driller uses an illegal fracking method, causing a devastating earthquake and fire which destroys much of San Antonio. Cave explorers, Jesse and Jake, are trapped in the dark with a monster crocodile, long thought to be extinct – Aquasaurus – a forty-foot, 8-ton descendent of Carnufex – “The Butcher”. World-class rock climber, Rita, must overcome her lifelong fear of darkness to rescue her boyfriend Jesse. A state senator must juggle her fear losing a child, with the greater need of thousands of disaster survivors. An oilman fears he will lose the company his dying father built. Fear can cause people to react in unpredictable ways. Fear can distort judgment, and cause likeable people to commit irrational acts. Fear can masquerade as bravado. Fear can paralyze. Fear can provide a cover for the truth. The problem with fear, is we think fear is the problem. What are you afraid of?

Mystery, magic, intrigue, and great attention to historical detail.

Ernie Lee has created word images so vivid that it is almost like watching a movie. Aquasaurus is a book for all tastes. This skillfully crafted novel contains history, science, mystery, intrigue, humor and a little bit of romance in a neat package that is not just entertaining but challenges your mind and imagination.

Aquasaurus is a delight to read. One can only hope that from a writer of this talent, there will be many more books to come.

Looking for a fracking good novel for a little night reading? Pick up "Aquasaurus" and start to read it with your seatbelt firmly fastened. It is an amazing read with spectacular action, super clever science and history come to life.

Controversy? Why, yes. Lots of it. Blasting oil and gas from the United States earth gets the juices flowing on both sides of the new fracking method. This method and its danger bubbles just below the surface in this timeless tale until it blows underground and into the sky.

That explosion looses a prehistoric descendent of a bloodthirsty leviathan of huge and hungry proportions. There's a set of caves, a superb rock climber, a little romance and a major rule-breaker.

"Aquasaurus takes you spinning through science, history, brilliant survival methods and a heart-pumping ride into a fictional tale. Or is it?

I want to know more. A sequel perhaps?

I give it five stars.

Aquasaurus,

From front cover to back cover, very captivating.
The only word that comes to mind when i think of this book .
M.Lee managed to have me wanting more every time i turned a page.
From chapter to chapter, you can feel the emotions that every caracter felt.
The laughter, the pain, the excitement, the fear , the friendship...
Could not wait for the next chapters. Hoping there will be a tome two .

AQUASAURUS

Ernie Lee has crafted a genuine "page-turner" of a novel that leaves the reader asking for more at the conclusion of each chapter. His skill as a storyteller engages the reader from the outset because the imagery in this book literally paints pictures in the reader's mind. There is something to snare the interest of every reader whether it is suspense, history, geography, human interest, or science fiction. Additionally, the plot is timely and relative to the South Texas area because of the all the new oil production activity. The characters are believable and interesting because any one of them could be a reflection of someone we know or maybe even of ourselves. Of course, the creature from the dark depths is the final "hook" that draws the reader further into the story line. It is the "what if" or " could it really be" factor that sends the extra chills down the spine. Ernie Lee has done the research and has taken factual information and spun it into a tale of current times that makes the reader pause to absorb the pertinent information that is being presented. He has cleverly written a tale of adventure, but he has also written a treatise on the underlying nature of man. All human beings have some sort of fear(s): failure, disappointment, the unknown, etc. He goes further with the examination of what is most frightening: the fear of the unknown or the fear of what we have come to know? Don't wait to get your copy of this novel. It is a quick read that you will not put down until you have read it from cover to cover. This story could be developed into a good screen play with some terrific special effects. The oilfield explosion, which all but destroys San Antonio and the surrounding area and unleashes the prehistoric leviathan from the limestone catacombs, would create a great backdrop for this "Indiana Jones" style of adventure.

I give AQUASAURUS five stars! Furthermore, if I were still teaching English in high school, I would definitely consider using this novel as a teaching tool. It is very well written and is constructed following standard measures of composition.

Are you afraid of the bogeyman? The dark? Probably not. How about an 8 ton walking prehistoric monster as big as a city bus? Now that is something to think about. Ernie Lee weaves an action packed story about Aquasaurus. This is a techno thriller that will keep you engaged and Ernie has done his research on this monster and on the technology that set him free. Through a complex series of man-made and natural disasters Aquasaurus has emerged from his cavern home for the first time in eons and has seen the light of day. He likes what he sees and you are now but a snack on his trek through south Texas. Follow the adventures of Jessie, Jake, Rita and others as they confront this monster and their fears. If you are afraid, remember you are suddenly in his food chain, do not call 911 because it will not be working. A masterful storytelling of suspense and disaster that you will not want to miss. This is a must read. Aquasaurus has a 5 star rating from me!
