Book Synopsis
On October 14, 1944, Joe Ostrander, 1st Lt. United States Army Air Corp, dropped his eggs in the early morning breakfast line at his Air Force base in southern Italy. He thought, "oh well, I'll just get some more tomorrow". His next eggs would be seven months away, as that morning his B-24 Liberator was shot down while bombing oil refineries over Ploesti, Romania.

Join Joe as he takes us on his harrowing journey behind enemy lines. It's the stuff Hollywood movies are made of - except it's all TRUE.

A gripping true story on the life of another unbroken POW, this time from a German POW camp. A good reminder to thank fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers for their unheralded service during WWII.

The humility and greatness of our WWII veterans are recounted in this compelling story of life behind enemy lines . . . and then a redeemed life that followed. It's the story Unbroken, just in the cold of Germany as the Allies bravely fought to end the Nazi madness. This book should inspire us to say "thank you" -- or buy a meal -- for any United States veteran we meet.
