Book Synopsis
This is a true story about the Stuart Little Band from the San Joaquin Valley in Northern California who kept getting closer and closer to signing the elusive recording contract during the early 1970's. It could easily be the story of the hundreds of bands who competed for attention in the marketplace but because of bad luck, bad timing, bad decisions, and bad advice were never able to make that quantum leap to the next level.

We loved playing our music and being a part of the scene. It was an exciting and challenging time. We were dedicated to our success and to each other, forming a family bond and reaching for a goal that could only have been possible if we all made it the most important part of our young lives. If we had not tried our best to reach stardom, for the rest of our lives we would have asked ourselves, “What if…?”

This was truly a magical time for musicians…especially for a band called Stuart Little.
