Book Synopsis
“15 Years in 12 Minutes: Making Your Dreams Come True.” The short book serves as a guide to help readers let go of their fears through contemplating on a “powerful” word and scripture each of 31 days, followed by guided sections of writing. In 2018, he lost his parents, a painful path that would lead him to better understand his purpose. That July, he fasted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and zoned in on a particular word each day, which became the words for the book. He said he felt like his dad was asking him to find his purpose.
“So I realized in 2018 your gift and purpose are way two different things, but the goal is to connect your gift with your purpose,” Darthard said. “And I’m fortunate enough to know now that my purpose is to help and inspire people and give back, tell them my testimony, help people release their fear, encourage, motivate. And through my gift of cooking, I’ve been doing it all my life. I just didn’t realize it till here in the process of writing this book.”
