Book Synopsis
We are definitely living in uncertain times. Unsurprisingly, the uncertainty of life often pushes people to revert to familiar habits. To escape the madness of the COVID-19 pandemic, our teens will cling to their friends and revert to their old way of living, without social distancing and facemasks. For some, the socializing will include vaping and smoking with both traditional and electronic cigarettes. Unfortunately, sharing a plastic mouthpiece from person to person seems about as dangerous as you can get these days. Teens are not practicing social distancing well. College students aren’t either. Although the COVID-19 virus is new and our knowledge about its long-term effects is limited, we have years of experience in studying the dangers of vaping. We also know enough at this point in time to advise against vaping for all teens and nonsmokers, especially in the face of this COVID-19 pandemic.
